Caitlin Penna is an award-winning full-time photographer specializing in documentary photography, portraiture, commercial work, video production, brand re-design, and social media concepts. She is currently based in Raleigh, North Carolina with her fiance, Keith, and their sweet dog, Ophelia.

Prior to moving back home to pursue freelance full-time, Caitlin was the multimedia producer for Colby College and the staff photographer for Western Carolina University. She is a contributor to The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, NBC, European PressPhoto Agency, Education Week, The Independent Weekly, and many more.

Her passion is helping others honorably share their stories through photography, writing, and video. She tends to be drawn to climate change, mental health, social justice, religion, and everyday folk. 

With this being said, Caitlin hopes to inspire her viewers in the brightest and darkest moments that unfold before her lens.
